Abstract

Ensuring the sterilization and infection control of surgical instruments is crucial for patient safety and surgical efficacy. This paper explores recent advancements in sterilization techniques and infection control measures, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. We analyze the latest technologies and protocols designed to mitigate infection risks, improve sterilization efficiency, and enhance overall surgical outcomes. By reviewing current practices and innovations, we provide recommendations for best practices in maintaining surgical instrument hygiene.
