Abstract

Cloud computing has fundamentally transformed healthcare by offering scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions that enhance data management, telemedicine, and research capabilities. This paper explores the role of cloud computing in modernizing healthcare systems, highlighting its impact on data storage, security, and integration, as well as its contribution to telemedicine and collaborative research. Through case studies of successful implementations, we examine the benefits, challenges, and best practices associated with cloud adoption in healthcare. The findings reveal that while cloud computing presents significant opportunities for improving patient care, operational efficiency, and research advancements, careful consideration of data security, regulatory compliance, and system integration is crucial for maximizing its potential.
